CoreHW’s Gen3 AoA reference design system offers a hardware environment for demonstrating and testing the indoor positioning accuracy of Bluetooth 5.1 AoA technology. The Gen3 technology is designed to work reliably in challenging real-world environments with reflective multipath conditions.
The AoA reference system includes CoreHW Gen3 locators and tags, consisting of AoA antenna array boards and IPS Main Boards, controlled by CoreHW CHW1010 SP16T Bluetooth AoA/AoD capable antenna switch for Bluetooth AoA CTE sampling. CoreHW firmware enables AoA measurements in the tags and locators, which can be connected to a Windows PC via Ethernet, Micro-USB, HW-UART, or SPI interfaces for position engine software with a user interface (GUI).
The reference system is suitable for laboratory tests and initial testing in real-world use case scenarios, supporting locator product development and the development of end-to-end RTLS solutions.
CHW1010-EVKN2 is an elegant solution for locator product development and development of final end-to-end RTLS solutions.
