CoreHW’s RF expertise and automotive radar IP enabled significant improvements in detection performance while meeting strict power and area constraints. Close collaboration with the customer supported accelerated time-to-market and long-term partnership in their radar roadmap.

Automotive Radar Transceiver IP

CoreHW delivered a silicon-proven automotive radar transceiver IP and worked closely with the customer’s engineering team to tailor the architecture for their SoC and process technology. The solution included a modular 4×TX / 4×RX architecture with integrated phase shifters, configurable IF paths, and supporting on-chip components such as PLL-based chirp generation, ADC/DAC interfaces, regulators, and built-in test and calibration functions. This highly integrated approach reduced external dependencies and simplified system integration.

CoreHW’s ultra-low-jitter PLL delivered excellent phase noise and fast lock times across demanding conditions. It helped us meet our system timing targets and simplify the clock architecture of our next-generation wireless infrastructure platform.

6G RF PLL

CoreHW provided its CorePLL 6G RF PLL IP, designed for multi-band infrastructure applications. The IP delivered wide frequency coverage with very low jitter and strong phase-noise performance. CoreHW engineers worked closely with the customer during integration and validation, optimizing the PLL configuration to align with the platform’s RF band plan and system noise environment.

CoreHW’s integrated BLE front-end module improved link performance while reducing power consumption and board complexity. The solution helped extend battery life and accelerated certification, enabling faster development of wearable and IoT devices.

Integrated 2.4 GHz RF Front-End with Chip Antenna

CoreHW delivered the integrated 2.4 GHz RF front-end module, combining a power amplifier, low-noise amplifier, and antenna switching into a compact solution optimized for Bluetooth® and other 2.4 GHz IoT protocols. The design minimized external RF matching requirements and supported a chip-antenna-centered architecture to simplify product integration and ensure consistent RF performance across production builds.

16-bit SAR ADC for Image Sensing Applications

CoreHW developed a 16-bit SAR ADC integrated into a high-performance image sensing system. CoreHW developed a silicon-proven 5A buck DC-DC converter IP in TSMC 0.18 µm BCD technology for on-chip power management. The solution enables efficient and scalable voltage regulation for high-performance SoCs, supporting multi-phase configurations and stable operation across a wide input range while meeting integration and efficiency requirements.
